ISOTIS key message: Equal access and high-quality care and education for disadvantaged children are needed to reduce educational inequalities
“How successful can a broad range of educational policies be in reducing achievement inequalities?” was the motivation of a new ISOTIS report on the topic of the impact of educational policies on reducing inequalities. Results indicated that equal access and high-quality care and education for disadvantaged children are needed to reduce these inequalities. Analyses were based on large scale databases (i.e. the PIRLS, TIMSS, PISA and PIAAC).
